Powhatan County first responders were recently recognized at the February 24th, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting for their outstanding teamwork during the recent winter storm. Tom Nolan, Director of Public Safety Communications (PSC), stated, "This was a significant event for Powhatan first responders, with the highest total calls and CAD events recorded ever." Storm-related call data was provided by Nolan and is shown in the table below.
