
CHAPTER COMMUNICATIONS
The Virginia Chapter of APCO uses Groups.io to share important updates and information with our members. This email group is our primary way to distribute chapter news, conference announcements, committee updates, and other information relevant to Virginia’s public safety communications community.
Who Can Join
Membership in the Virginia APCO Groups.io community includes:

Commercial Members assigned to the Virginia Chapter

Approved visitors and past members (for a limited time, as appropriate)
Guidelines for Use

Privacy & Confidentiality: Messages are intended for the private use of Chapter members. Do not publicly release, forward, or share the contents of messages outside the group without the author's expressed permission. The only exception is when sharing information relevant to Chapter operations with other members or PSAP staff who do not have email access.

Advertising: Commercial advertising by vendors is prohibited. Members may advertise surplus equipment or discuss commercial products only if the information directly benefits operations.

Message Distribution: Messages are typically sent by Chapter officers, committee chairs, or designated representatives. Members receive these messages directly in their email.
