With deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform our colleagues of the death of our colleague and friend, Joseph Gately, who passed away on April 24, 2023.
Joe served more than 50 years with Gately Communications and MCA. An original Radioman.
Joe served as the Commercial Chapter Advisor Member with APCO-VA. He participated in the APCO-Virginia events with such generosity.
There are very few people as special as Joe. He was someone that we felt deeply connected to. A quintessential giant teddy bear is best to describe him with the biggest heart and that signature contagious smile. He made an impact on many of our lives with APCO.
He will be forever missed. Everyone who knew Joe felt his big heart and giving nature (generosity).
Above all else, Joe loved his family. Please keep Eileen, David, Katie and the Gately family in your thoughts and prayers.
